Prof. Hisham Farag

BIOGRAPHY

Hisham Farag is a Professor of Finance at Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham, where he is also the Founding Director of the Sustainable Financial Innovation Research Centre (SFiC). His research focuses on sustainable finance, FinTech, corporate finance, and corporate governance, with publications in leading journals including the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Corporate Finance, British Journal of Management, and Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Sustainable Finance & Investment and has extensive experience in research leadership, industry engagement, and externally funded research.
